MONTSALVAT APRIL
When: Sunday April 21, 12:30-2PM
Where: Montsalvat, Eltham.
Let’s gather to create art and appreciate history at the not-for-profit heritage arts precinct, Montsalvat!
Your class begins with organic pastries from Adele’s favorite local bakery - Old Evropa - and fresh brewed organic espresso coffee.
Then, it’s time to get creative! Adele will guide you as you hand build your own unique pair of ritual candlestick holders using terracotta clay. Terracotta has been widely used since ancient times for art, sculpture and ritual objects. Adele will combine her love of teaching, and past studies in archaeology, for this special class centred around community and tradition.
After class, you are welcome to explore the stunning gardens, pathways and stone buildings that make Montsalvat so charming and unique.
Your creation will be cared for and kiln fired at Montsalvat, ready for collection approximately 3 weeks later.
All are welcome, no prior experience necessary. Limited tickets available.
