When: Saturday April 22, 1pm - 3:30pm class, followed by your time at Capers

Terracotta Amphora & Ancient Greek cocktails

Enjoy a relaxing 2.5 hour ceramics class crafting your own ancient inspired terracotta amphora, guided by Adele. Afterwards, take a short wander down High Street Thornbury to one of Adele’s favourite local bars - Capers.

In the charming outdoor garden space, you will be served a cocktail made with the ancient ingredient Mastiha - a resin from the skinos tree, found only in Chios, Greece.

After class, your amphora will be dried and fired, ready for collection 4 weeks later at Capers, with a house made baklava and fresh coffee waiting for you!

*please note* terracotta is not suitable for holding water, and is designed to be decorative only.

What’s Included:

  • Approx 2.5 hour hand building ceramics class, guided by Adele

  • 1 small to medium handmade terracotta amphora, kiln fired

  • 1 Mastic Sour Cocktail at Capers Bar
