Montsalvat Gelato Cups
When: Sunday April 6, 11:00am -12:30pm
Where: Montsalvat, Eltham
Gelato lovers unite! Create your own unique ceramic cup, and enjoy gelato as you wander around Montsalvat’s beautiful Autumn Gathering event.
No ceramics experience is necessary, Adele will adapt her teaching style to ensure each student feels supported throughout the making process.
The Workshop:
Enjoy fresh brewed espresso coffee and cake upon arrival, and then a relaxing morning playing with clay. We will be using hand building techniques to craft your own unique and charming gelato cup.
Afterwards, you are welcome to explore the stunning gardens, pathways and stone buildings that make Montsalvat so charming and unique, and a gelato from their on-site cart.
After class, your ceramic cups will be slowly dried, kiln fired twice at Montsalvat, and splatter glazed by Adele in your choice of colour.
They will be ready for collection approximately 4 weeks later at Montsalvat.
What’s Included:
Approx 1.5 hour hand building ceramics class, guided by Adele
1 handmade ceramic gelato cup, kiln fired, splatter glazed
Fresh brewed espresso coffee and cake (served on day of workshop)
